Lust is the apparent leader of the Homunculi. These beings are created from sinister and mysterious means, but no one has yet pinned down the complete truth behind their existence. Lust uses any means necessary to accomplish her goals. She is able to corrupt the minds of the weak, forcing them to follow her every desire. Fate would have it that she and Ed desire the very same thing the power of the Philosopher’s Stone. With it, Lust hopes to become completely human. Only time will tell if she fulfils her goal. But even so, will becoming completely human truly satisfy all her desires?
Gluttony’s appetite is voracious. Too bad for his victims is the fact that only one thing satisfies it, if only for a moment. Gluttony appears to gain nothing in the way of physical strength or power by consuming other living beings. No matter how much he eats, his appetite is never fulfilled. He simply knows one thing: Hunger. Not for power or prestige, but rather simply to satisfy his reason to be, which only adds to his tragic existence.
Envy is one of the Homunculi, a group of pseudo-humans whose creation is still an enigma. Some say they were created in a lab. Others believe they’ve always been among us. But no matter where they came from, their intentions are nothing but evil. Envy has the ability to become a perfect physical replica of whomever he or she desires. Envy is without gender. In fact, Envy’s mind is so far gone that he or she can’t remember who he or she used to be. Envy’s power truly is amazing.
Greed
He was created by Dante. His power is to change his body into an impenetrable material formed from the carbon in his body, most likely diamond. His alias is the strongest shield because of this. Apparently he does not want to become human. After Edward pierces his heart with his auto mail Greed reveals that the weakness homunculus have is that they become mortal when near the bones of their respective creator or of the people they were supposed to become. He dies shortly afterwards
Sloth -
Sloth was created from the Elrics failed transmutation in the beginning of the series. She has the tattoo of Oruboros underneath her left shoulder.
Wrath -
This little child is in reality the evil homunculus Wrath. He was created by Izumi Curtis and he took Edward's arm and leg when Edward performed a human transmutation and now he wants the rest of Ed's body so that he can become a human. His tattoo of Oruboros is on the bottom of his foot.
